It was an eventful day.  We got to town at 8 am for soccer camp.

After soccer, we drove to Dodge City and went to the 3i show.

All the kids are on the tractors.  Saige is on the far end, but you can barely see her in the picture.

Odd conversation of the day
Setting: Clint was talking to a vendor at the 3i show and the kids and I walked down to look at more things.  We pass a random stranger.
Stranger - "Your kids must have gotten all their good looks from their father."
Me - "Geez.  Thanks. (In a non-flattered tone)"
Stranger - "They must get their good looks from their father because you've still got all of yours."
Me - "Umm.  Ok.  Thanks?"
The conversation ends as I continue to walk on with my 5 good looking kids.

We got many compliments today about how beautiful our kids are.  So many people said they all have the most gorgeous eyes.  Not to brag, well, yes, I'm bragging...they are cute kids!

After the 3i show, we got McDonalds for lunch (at 2:30 pm).  The kids never complained about being hungry.  They were having a good time and didn't even think about it.  After we ate, we went to the zoo.

This tiger didn't mind the kids and Clint standing and watching her, but as soon as I walked up, she got mad.  Really mad.  She started pacing at me and growling and batting its paws.  Honestly, she wasn't happy and it was a tad scary.  Clint said she was fine until I walked up.

Before bedtime, I asked the kids a couple questions...
What did we do today?
Jett: go to the zoo
Judd: we went to the farm show and to the animal show
Saige: play at the zoo
Sloan: we go'd at the zoo and see'd all the animals

What was your favorite part of the day?
Jett: seeing the tiger clawing at Mommy
Judd: spending time with you
Saige: seeing the pig
Sloan: my favorite thing that we did today was staying with you
 
What else did you like about today?
Jett: seeing the other animals
Judd: shooting the bow
Saige: playing soccer
Sloan: seeing the tiger at the zoo and it didn't like Mommy very much
