This morning started out cold and rainy.  We got a half inch of rain and a little hail.  This afternoon, the sun came out and it warmed up to 60 degrees and it was a beautiful afternoon.  We went to town for Santa Clause Day.  We had a great time riding the ferris wheel, spinning tubs and carousel.

They had the old fashioned games like three legged race, sack race and the egg toss that the kids had fun watching.  Our kids participated in a few, but mostly just watched.

This ride was new in town this year.  Sloan wanted to ride it so we got in line.  Jett thought he would go also.  The guy was telling them that if they wanted to stop to tell me and I could wave him at him.
I think we were up here when Jett decided this ride wasn't for him.  You can see Sloan peeking out of the right side.
Jett is horrified at this point and I waved the at the guy to stop.
Jett wanted out, but was embarrassed Daddy was documenting it.
Sloan and I finished the ride.  After a few times around, she wanted it to stop.  She lasted until the ride was over and was smiling at the end.

A few more rides on the carousel before they took them down...

We stayed in town for the soup supper and then went to Megan and Stephen's house for Kirk and Gayla's surprise anniversary party (their 25th).  We weren't able to stay long since it was getting late.  We took the boys to Larry and Diane's to stay the night since we are leaving for KC really early in the morning.
