For breakfast, the kids asked for hot chocolate and some of Aunt Loretta's turtle cookies that she left yesterday.  It sounded good to me too, so that's what we had.

I feel like all I did today was eat.  Leftover birthday cake, cookies, bread, salads, candy.  It was cool and cloudy most of the day and I just felt like hibernating and plumping up for winter.

Just in the last few days, Jaide has started shaking her body back and forth to tell me what she wants.  She will come to the kitchen counter and reach up and I'll hold something out and if it's not what she wants she will move her whole body side to side to tell me no.  She nods her head and upper body forward and backwards when I show her what she wants (which has usually been a piece of halloween candy).
