As I was upstairs rocking Jaide to sleep for her afternoon nap, my chair started shaking and the pictures on the walls started making noise as they were rattling against the wall.  Yep, sure enough, an earthquake.  I've never felt on before.  Saige and Sloan were in the living room watching tv and didn't notice a thing.  I probably wouldn't have either, except for the fact that I was sitting down in the quiet, which doesn't normally happen.  The news reported that the magnitude 4.8 earthquake began at 3:40 p.m. and had its epicenter 8 miles south of Conway Springs, KS.

When the boys got home from school, Judd said, "I told Parker that the President is mean and he takes our money from us."  After I got done laughing, I asked him where he heard that and he said, "Daddy told me."  When Clint got home tonight, I asked him about it and he said that he was listening to Rush Limbaugh on the radio when he was taking the boy in to school.  Apparently Rush and another guy were talking about Obamacare and Clint tried to explain to our boys what they were talking about.

The girls had fun this afternoon playing in the fort in the living room.  The boys played in there with the girls when they got home.  They also took turns sitting with their feet in the foot massager, which they thought was pretty fun.
The high was 22 degrees today.  Needless to say, we stayed inside all day long.
