Saige helped me put brown sugar on top of the coffee cake this morning (easiest recipe ever!) and while doing it, she said, "This is going to be yummy and awesome!"

I am so proudly displaying my preschoolers art work.  I don't care how tacky it is.  I love having their papers taped up all over my kitchen walls.

Clint got 2 tire water tanks delivered this morning.  The kids had fun "helping" him unload them.

The kids put blankets around the buffet (that was my Grandma Audrey's) and they had so much fun playing under it.  I can just imagine her sitting and watching them and loving it.  I miss her.

On the way to town today to take the boys to school, there were about 8 oilfield pickups right down the road from our house.  Yes, they have the right to be there, but I just wanted to know what they were doing and wanted them to be courteous.  I made the comment that if they were still there when we came home that I was going to "stop and have words with them".  After we dropped the boys off, I told the girls, "Let's head home and see if all those pickups are still there."  Sloan said, "Yes, so we can talk to them with words!"  Yes Sloan, close enough!
