Our sweet baby is 7 months old today. Her two bottom teeth are coming in, which has made her a little fussy. She wants to be held all the time, so I just cart her around on my hip all day. For the most part I feed her what I feed the other kids, just blended in the food processor. I have tried to feed her a jar of baby food and she gags and won't eat it. She's used to "real" food. She is still waking up 1-3 times a night, but still goes right back to sleep. She still sleeps right next to me. Clint is ready for her to sleep in her own crib. I've been laying her in her crib during her naps so she can start getting used to it. She has very ticklish feet and it's so cute to hear her giggle. Like her brothers and sisters, she loves to swim. She is pulling herself up on toys and the kids little table. She is trying to crawl some, but she mostly tries to get up on her feet. I think she'd rather be walking. When she gets tired, she likes to hold on to my hair and snuggle by my face. I love her.
Clint has times of year that he doesn't have much going on. This is not one of those times. It is a time of year that he is very busy. We haven't seen him much the past few days. He has been getting the drills ready, planting milo, spraying the milo ground (to kill weeds and also a pre-emergent to keep weeds from growing), getting the trucks ready to haul wheat, moving the cows into one group and moving them to the north pasture, and so on and so on.
It was hot today. I am stubborn and cheap and I still haven't turned our air conditioner on. We just leave the windows open at night to cool the house off, then close them up in the morning and turn the ceiling fans on. It got pretty warm in the house today, but we just went outside and got in the pool to cool off. I made a cake today and the kids had some for their snack. It was just a yellow cake with homemade strawberry frosting. We burned enough calories while swimming that we deserved a treat.
Judd was so cute just relaxing on the couch and watching tv. He is getting so long and lanky.
