Today we took the boys for their preschool screening. I feel like I have failed them miserably in teaching them what I wanted to. However, despite my shortcomings, they did wonderful. They scored very high and are "well-rounded", "socially adept", "hard workers" and "perfectionists" (which I know can be good and bad). Both of them did great and I'm so proud of them. They are excited to start school in the fall. Today proved that they have not been hindered one bit by not being in preschool for 2 years.
This evening, Judd came in with some seeds. He asked me if he could plant them and I asked him what kind of seeds they were, to which he replied, "Coconut seeds". Instead of explaining that they couldn't be coconut seeds, I just told him he could plant them in my flower box, and he did. When Clint came in, I asked him what Judd had, to which he replied, "Seeds out of a gourd". I don't have a very green thumb, but I bet we'll be growing gourds soon.
