The best high is the one I get from my baby snuggled up and sleeping in a heavy heap on my chest.  Thank you, oxytocin.

I'm having a hard time letting my baby grow up.  She expresses interest and I know she's ready to eat solids, but I have been putting off starting her.  I'm clinging to every last moment of the baby phase that I can.  It's all so different when I know she is the last of the brood.  Instead of being excited about the next phase, I'm just mourning that I'll never have another one go through the past phase.  Despite these feelings, expect to see pictures of my baby eating food in the next few days.

2 days ago it was almost 100 degrees.  Today, this is what we woke up to...

I took a few pictures of the girls today...
We agree that the hands-down best high (no matter what you did in college) is the one you get from your baby laying heavy in a heap on your chest. Thank you, oxytocin. - See more at: http://www.scarymommy.com/things-experienced-moms-really-want-to-say-to-new-moms/#sthash.468uvGOx.dpuf
