Friday was Saige and Sloan's 3rd birthday.  They were excited and they have been counting down the days.  I tried to make them feel special.  I made blueberry muffins for breakfast and put 3 candles in a cupcake for each of them and Clint and the boys and I sang to them and they blew out their candles.  I sang happy birthday to them quite a few times throughout the day.  It was a beautiful day and the kids played outside most of the afternoon.

Yesterday we had Saige, Sloan and Truman's birthday party at our house.  Although is was really cold out which kept some people from coming, we had a great day celebrating.
Papa Bob was entertaining them for the picture.  They are all pointing and smiling at him.

The girls got purses and a little compact of glittery makeup from Great Grandma Lila

This year I wanted us to sing to each kid individually to make them each have their own moment to feel special.  I loved seeing the kids sing to each other and clap for each other.

Saige and Sloan-
Happy 3rd Birthday girls.  Your Daddy and I love you more than you can understand.  When you are grown, I doubt you'll remember this birthday, but hopefully you can look at these pictures and know that you had a house full of people here to celebrate your special day because they love you.  Every day with you is a blessing.  I'm thankful God chose me to be your Momma.

Stacy, Truman, Amelia and Wyatt stayed with us last night for a sleepover.  The kids had a lot of fun playing. There was a little bickering, which can only be expected with four 4 year olds and three 3 year olds.  It only got up to 7 degrees today.  It was windy and snowy most of the day.  Needless to say, we stayed inside and played all day.

After Stacy left mid-afternoon, I made the kids go to their rooms to rest for awhile.  The girls finally fell asleep.  The boys did not.  Instead, they had fun jumping off the bunk bed.
